Tell us a little about BJH Design and the team?
We are a wife & husband team, working around a pretty normal working family life trying to get a little further ahead; luckily we came across the Trotec machine and haven’t looked back since!
What do you do in your down time away from the business?
Jenni, looks after our 4 Children, Tajy (7) , Mason & Tate (Twins 2) & Lincoln (8 Weeks).
Ben, full time owner/manager of a Hydraulic Hose franchise.
How did you get into the engraving (or laser engraving) business and what do you enjoy most about it?
We got into the engraving by requiring some tags made up for my hose Franchise, so we looked into buying a laser. We first bought a cheap Chinese laser from eBay (NOT RECOMMENDED), which turned out to be a huge waste of money, so we decided to spend the money and invest in a quality TROTEC machine.
The thing I enjoy the most is thinking of new ideas and seeing what the machine is capable of.

What type of jobs / work do you do?
The Majority of our work is supplying tagging to the mining industry, but we also do some custom made products, Chopping Boards, Key Rings , Stainless Steel House numbers (Using Cermark) ect.
What has been your favorite job and why?
My Favorite job was designing and creating vehicle badge for the car enthusiast as I am one myself. Here is an image of some Mitsubishi Evolution badges I made.
What would be your ultimate job and client to work with and why?
Ultimate job… maybe something that would push the machine and my design skills to the limit and coming out with a perfect result at the end.
