We’re back with our Featured Business in 2017, after a short break. We’ve taken 5 minutes to chat with Danella from Tiny Tot’s Designer Decor, who is located in Queensland Australia. She shares with us her experience upon purchasing her first laser machine, how she isn’t just an engraving business, a Trotec Laser Rayjet and some of her favourite jobs. She works with engraving and cutting a variety of materials and products, for a very unique market.

How did you get started with Tint Tots Designer Decor?
Tiny Tots Designer Decor was established in 2013, from painting my Son’s name and wall decals, from there Tiny Tots went from making names to clocks, puzzles, black boards and cake toppers. Since purchasing a laser I have been able to make custom made decor, flat lays, Cake Toppers, Save the dates, Wedding invitations, Drop boxes and so much more. Tiny Tots ensures quality handmade and painted decor that is made especially for your Tiny Tot and business.
It would definitely be busy, what do you like to do away from the business?
In my down time I like to relax with my family and unwind.
Why the decision to purchase a Trotec Laser?
I purchased my own Trotec Rayjet laser as I wanted to design and create my own lines instead of having to rely on other suppliers. Since having my own laser it has given me the freedom to create.
Do you work specifically in market?
At Tiny Tots Designer Decor and Handmade by Danella we offer:
- Wedding Decor
- Home Decor
- Children Decor
What has been your favourite job to date?
My favourite request to date has been designing an item for another handmaiden in W.A, we created bow catchers and the supplier has decorated them
I have also enjoyed making several other items for other businesses as well
What would be your ultimate client or job and why?
I would love to work with a client and design their flat lays business cards display stands for market tables and creative pieces they could show the world and sell. I would like to expand into making initiations and stamps for weddings, more cake toppers for cake makers supplying decor as wholesaler, and engraving on stainless steel pendants to make jewellery with.
